Mandarino Blu

The amazing ex-pat artist Laelle Busch sent her photos all the way from Italy to participate in Fun-a-Day! Lately she has been creating with the likes of Mandarino Blu, a group promoting the power of visual communication. Yes, it’s in Italian, but their blog is beautiful. I especially love this post of some improvements made to road signs.

Here’s their mission statement in English: “Mandarino Blu comes from the unification of several brilliant minds that, after diverse experiences, decided to unite their super powers in the field of visual communication in order to share with the world what can be done with a little bit of fantasy and with the tools that technology provides. Mandarino Blu is an alternative way of seeing reality, to go beyond appearances and to look deep into the essence, “the juice of ideas.”

Makiko

We met a lovely artist named Makiko at the Stuff Sale yesterday and she took our picture for her blog. She takes a picture of someone every day with the date written out on a whiteboard and has been doing it  for almost a year! Check it out: Makiko’s Site.
